Mudbrick & Stone Villa in Shoreham
Gites de France in Shoreham
Holiday House in Shoreham
Le Pavillon is a mud-brick and stone villa was purpose built some 20 years ago from local handcrafted materials. The wrought iron lights designed by the owners and made especially for the villa by Mark Douglass. Charmingly unique, Le Pavillon holds great appeal for those who value craftsmanship and provincial character.
An antique cast iron spiral staircase leads to the first floor where there are two bedrooms, a bathroom and a sitting room with views of the countryside. The ground level comprises a bedroom with queen size bed, a bath room, a spacious, sunny living area with adjoining open plan kitchen and meals area. In winter it is kept warm by a large “Morso” wood heater and in summer you can open the French doors leading onto your private courtyard with outdoor furniture.
Le Pavillon is a little piece of of Provence on the outskirts of Shoreham, and only an hour from Melbourne. Children will find play equipment in the 2-acre park which abuts the property.
