The property combines a contemporary design, vintage fittings and delightful rustic features, creating a peaceful ambience spread over three separate accommodation spaces.
Three separate living spaces are ideally suited to a multigenerational family, two families or three couples.
Set on approximately eight rolling acres where you can soak in your own black stone luxury bath, rinse under the outdoor rainfall shower or rug, and relax by the fire pit with your favourite glass of Pinot, all with the most stunning valley views. Venture on your private bush walk through native bush or relax with your favourite book in the cottage window seat by the fireplace.
You will not want to leave this remarkable, unique, inspiring residence. The property owners will consider longer bookings.

The Cottage: Three bedrooms, one bathroom, full laundry and separate toilet. Fully equipped kitchen with butler's pantry, entertainers oven, Nespresso pod coffee machine, large designer dining table, lounge area with wood heater and art tv, window seat and gas hydronic heating throughout and ceiling fans in all rooms.
The Studio: king-size bed with open plan dining and living, designer wood heater, kitchenette with bar fridge, split system air con in bedroom and living area, shower, toilet, (underfloor bathroom heating) tv and outdoor seating area.
The Shed: One king bed in a large open plan room including a lounge area with tv, split system air con, Danish wood heater, and ensuite with walk-in shower, toilet and underfloor heating.
Additional features: Wifi in the cottage and the shed (runs off dongle modem, (nbn is not available), amazing rural views, private bush-walk, fire pit, outdoor hot and cold bath and shower, orchard with fruit trees, veggie patch, bbq and ample parking.
Pets are welcome and subject to the owner's approval - fencing is not enclosed.

Walden is an absolutely stunning property and we loved every minute of our stay.
The expansive grounds and beautiful living quarters make this the perfect family Flinders getaway. Peaceful and quiet, this property offered wonderful views and acres of space. We can’t wait to come back!

There is only one way to describe the place and that is "perfect".
The presentation was as marvellous and one of the best feelings was that you could have been in your own house. Lots of kangaroos watching our every move, wonderful and beautifully kept garden. Susie and I stayed in the shed which we found superbly fitted out and with a very comfortable king size bed. All of us had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Walden as a wonderful retreat for any length of time.

This property was absolutely perfect!
The location and grounds were beautiful, the buildings were all impeccably decorated and designed and the environs were lovely! It was a great spot to enjoy that the peninsula had to offer, and we even saw a “mob” of kangaroos in the neighbouring fields. Magical cockatoos greeted us each morning, what a total delight! We hope to return someday!

Absolutely breathtaking
We couldn’t of asked for much more … it was everything that we expected (from pics) plus more. The views, the architectural design, the in home decorating as well as the outside design and the care put in to making it simply magical was absolutely breathtaking. The beds were comfy and the linen was lovely on the skin. The home was super clean. Our family had a beautiful time, kudos to the owners, I don’t know of any if any, other local properties that could top this one. Thank you for sharing this with us.

We have made the most incredible memories as a family here. And had the most special Easter - thank you. It doesn't seem too much of an overstatement to say that Walden is a magical place - especially as this morning as it rained, and whilst enjoying the outdoor shower in nature, a family of kangaroos came all the way up to the chestnut tree.
